Schedule Sep-Dec

Lab meeting guide:

_____Literature: Monday 6:00PM (PICB,Room315)

_____Progress: Tuesday 9:00AM(SIPPE,Room103) or Thursday 8:30AM(PICB,Room300)

A. Frequency:Everyone is required to give a formal lab meeting presentation once every three months.

B. Presentation content: This presentation should be prepared to the highest quality possible
and should show your work in a complete form. You should include a complete introduction,
novelty and significance of the work, methodology, progress, discussions, future plans in this
meeting. Each figure and table should be prepared with a publication quality.

C.Meeting report: After each lab meeting, please summarize your progress in a detailed
document and send it to PI for records. The report should be written as if it is complete research
paper. Each report is required to include the following items a) a complete introduction, b) novelty
and significance of your work, c) detailed methodology, d) results in the form of figures and tables,
e) discussions, f) future plans. Each figure and table should be prepared with a publication quality.
The introduction and discussions need to be as rigorous as possible and including sufficient
literature citations to support your arguments. Please take time to write the report.

D.Literature study: We have weekly literature study meeting to discuss recent advances in
particular areas of research related to our lab. We will use this opportunity to learn new techniques,
brainstorming new ideas etc.
