The von Willebrand factor (vWf) is one of the major factors regulating bleeding. As bleeding enhanes the shear
flow the von Willebrand factor experiences, Threoxin reduces disulfide bonds of cystin present in the vWf. My
aim is to provide a way to calculate redox potentials of S-S bonds experiencing mechanical forces. Further more
I aim at understanding the influence of mechanical force on redox systems.
