PICB
The IMPRS for Computational Biology and Scientific Computing is closely cooperating with a parallel IMPRS at the CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Computational Biology (PICB) in Shanghai, China. PICB was jointly
established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and MPG in 2005. It focuses on the interface between theoretical and experimental molecular and cell biology. The student members of the IMPRS at PICB
are selected annually from amongst the PICB student body. Berlin and Shanghai students meet annually for a summer school and get the opportunity for a research stay in the other country.
