Title: Understanding the dynamic regulomes by 3D genomics and RNAomics

The study of gene regulation was once carried out one gene at a time. Recent high-throughput technologies have produced multi-omic big data at unprecedented levels. 3D genomics and RNAomics approaches provide new biological insights at high-resolution and genome scale, which are transforming the study of the dynamic reguomes in development and diseases. I will highlight new computational and statistical methods and tools for modeling and analyzing these emerging datasets to facilitate deciphering the regulomes.

Zhengqing Ouyang is an assistant professor of computational biology and systems genomics at The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, USA. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University under the advisement of Prof. Wing Hung Wong, and did postdoctoral training with Prof. Howard Chang and Prof. Michael Snyder at Stanford. He is recipient of the Genome Technology Young Investigator of the Year Award from GenomeWeb and the Research Starter Grant in Informatics Award from the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America Foundation.

All are welcome!
