    研究领域  

Martin Vingron教授在前期工作中,研究集中于蛋白质序列分析、DNA序列分析、序列比较和分子进化等领域,主要运用各种离散优化理论来设计算法以及概率理论来回答计算结果中的显著性问题。之后,他的兴趣转向了利用统计学的方法进行DNA芯片的处理和分析。在近期的研究中,他主要运用基因表达的数据和其他进化数据来研究基因调控机制, 在基因组序列和大规模功能基因组数据基础上研究基因调控、信号传导以及基因网络。
